Bridging the gap between childcare and healthy nutrition at home
Faith partners are recruited and paired with a childcare centers in close proximity to them so that they can collect and supply the following non-perishable items so that the center has them on hand for families in need.  The goal of this program is to assist families who are struggling financially so that children can have nutritious meals not only during the day but also in the evenings and on weekends:
 Oatmeal  Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Salmon, etc)  Pasta  Spaghetti Sauce (in can or plastic container)  Soup  Crackers  Canned Fruit (in natural juice)  Canned Beans (pintos, black, etc)  Canned Vegetables  Rice  Canned Milk  Peanut butter (plastic jars only)  Tooth paste and tooth brushes  Diapers and Pull-ups
