CFM thanks The Children’s Board of Hillsborough County for sponsoring the ministry’s recent phone system upgrade which has  enhanced the effectiveness of daily business operations and  communication with those we serve.
CFM received a $100,000 grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Foundation (BCBSF Foundation).  The 2 year grant will help launch Cornerstone’s Children’s Nutrition Connection’s Cooking with Kids Program that will provide nutrition education to over two-thousand 3 and 4 year old children from low-income families who attend the organization’s 120 partner childcare centers in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk and Manatee counties.  The program will also equip and educate the parents of the children and their teachers about childhood obesity and ways they can support and encourage children in developing a healthy lifestyle.
