Intern/Assistant Teacher Needed for Inner-City Early Learning Center
$12 – $15 an hour
We are seeking to increase the level of teachers, teaching, and commitment to Christian ministry to 0-5 year-olds at our early childhood learning center. We are specifically looking for the following attributes as we seek candidates to fill a part-time and a full-time position:
- A Christ follower who is an active member of a local congregation
- A passion for those living in poverty
- A passion for children and early childhood education and development
- A commitment to serving children with excellence
- A strong work-ethic
- Experience working with children
- Familiarity with childcare licensing and high standards for early childhood centers
- A commitment to participate in our internship program, in which you enroll and attend higher education classes in early childhood education and we help connect you with a scholarship that pays for up to 80% of your schooling costs and books
