CCFP is a supplemental program that will help with your food costs by reimbursing you for meals and snacks served to all children   (including infants) in your center. Funding source for the CCFP is the USDA, and is based on a three tiered structure similar to the “National School Lunch Program”. In addition to meal reimbursement, centers receive an additional amount of money for every lunch that is served (cash-in-lieu). Reimbursable meals served to children contain at a minimum each of the food components in the USDA’s Meal Pattern for Children. Standard menus are provided to centers, eliminating the time and effort of meal planning. (Menus can be customized to accommodate centers food prep capability). Distribute payments within 5 working days of receipt of monthly reimbursements from DOH.  Centers monthly reimbursement is paid by direct deposit. Parents get more for their tuition dollars, making your center more attractive than others that do not participate in the Child Care Food Program. Stop stressing over managing your food service and spend more time caring for what’s most important to your center….. THE CHILDREN!
