Week 1 - Little Leaders - Everything is Possible

During the first week of the summer camp at Rosa Valdez Early Learning Center, students will dive into the exciting theme of "Everything is Possible." The week is packed with engaging activities and opportunities for personal growth. Here's a glimpse of what the week has in store:

Monday kicks off with a craft session where campers get to stencil their names on white camp T-shirts, adding a personal touch to their summer wardrobe. On Tuesday, the focus turns to cooking as the kids celebrate Dairy Month by making delicious homemade ice cream alongside their peers.

Throughout the week, the campers will have the chance to attend chapel sessions, fostering a sense of spirituality and reflection. They will also get to witness a drama production performed by older campers, inspiring them through the creative expressions of their peers.

Friday brings the excitement of Fun Friday Activity, which promises to be a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants. Campers are encouraged to wear their camp T-shirts and embrace the camp spirit.

In addition to the specific activities, the daily schedule includes a variety of center rotations to keep the campers engaged and entertained. They will have the opportunity to explore different areas such as the outdoor SPARK station, STEM Center, Art Center, Creative Play Center, and Literacy Center. These rotations expose them to a wide range of educational and hands-on experiences, encouraging their curiosity and fostering a love for learning.

Throughout the week, there will be mindful moments where campers can engage in activities that promote mindfulness and positive thinking. These moments include listening to a story about the theme of "Everything is Possible," tending to the garden, and engaging in discussions about the potential and possibilities in their lives.

Friday is all about excitement and fun! Campers are encouraged to wear their camp T-shirts and join in the engaging activities during our Fun Friday session.
