Education and Developmental Resources

    • Payments are due in advance every Friday for the following week. Tuition statements are sent home every two weeks.

    • No Cash is accepted. Payments can be made by Check or Money Order made payable to: Cornerstone Family Ministries – Rosa Valdez Center

    • Please include your child’s name on your payment

    • Please make sure you receive and save your payment receipts

  • At Cornerstone Family Ministries we understand the importance of communicating with our parents, partners, teachers, staff and supporters. Therefore, we utilize GroupMe mobile app as a group text platform to easily share pertinent information with each of our classes, staff and board members.

  • ELM provides age appropriate resources and meaningful learning experiences to help children stay engaged and continue learning during this uncertain/transitional time. The resources will range from social-emotional regulation, math, science and literacy. Learn More

  • The Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) was implemented in 2002 in order to give ALL of Florida’s 4-year-olds access to a quality prekindergarten experience.

    The VPK program is FREE to families and does not have any income requirements or restrictions. Learn More

    • WIC – WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care.

    • Early Steps – Each child grows at an individual pace, but research shows that a child’s first three years are the most important time for learning. Getting help early puts your child on the right path to learn and develop at their full potential.

    • FDLRS – The Early Childhood Council’s (ECC) Developmental Screening Program, in partnership with the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS), provides free monthly screening for developmental delays or behavioral difficulties to children aged 0-5.

  • Each month our teachers complete Age and Stage Assessments for each student. Feel free to request a copy to review your child’s ASQ results!
